Change one date, that date and the ones after, or all of them. - New from the family: When someone else adds, moves or cancels something, it shows on Today with a badge. - Private entries: Switch on "Only on my iPhone" for anything that shouldn't be shared, like a surprise or your own appointment. - Undo and Recently deleted: Every delete can be undone, and anything removed stays for 30 days, even if it was removed on another phone. - Bank holidays and weather: Bank holidays for England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, and a forecast on Today. - Widgets: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show what's next, with the date on every entry. - Full page screenshots: Take a screenshot and Kinboard offers the whole fortnight as one page to send. - PDF summary (Pro): Print the next weeks for the fridge, or send them to a grandparent or childminder. - Copy to iPhone Calendar (Pro): Put everything in the iPhone's own Calendar as well, if that's where you look. ### Reading letters and newsletters - Share sheet: Tap Share in Mail, ParentMail, a school app, WhatsApp, Safari or Files, and choose Kinboard. - Scan a paper letter: Use the camera on the letter from the book bag. Text is read on your iPhone. - Photos and PDFs: Pick a photo or PDF you already have. 3 free, then unlimited with Pro. - Web pages: Paste the link to a newsletter page and Kinboard reads the page. - Paste text: Copy a message from anywhere and paste it in. Always free. - Say it: Speak an entry, like "Party at Jumpin' Jacks on Saturday at two", and check it before saving. - You check before saving: Every date found is shown first, with who it's for and what to bring. Untick or fix anything before it's added. - UK school words: Understands INSET days, half term, non-uniform days, year groups and dates written the British way. ### School and clubs - School search: Find your school by name or postcode from the Department for Education's list of schools in England. - Schools near me: Shows schools near you. Your location is used once on your phone and isn't stored. - Calendar links (Pro): Subscribe to a school or club calendar link and new dates are added by themselves. - Clubs and fees: Each club's day, time and cost, and whether this term is paid. - Kit reminders: PE days, swimming kit and instruments, the night before. - Parties and RSVPs: Reply-by dates and the venue, with present ideas kept on each child's profile. ### Each child, and the grown-ups - Profiles with photos: A photo or emoji for each person, their school, class and teacher. - Sizes: Shoe size, clothes size, height and weight, so presents and school uniform fit. - Health details: Allergies, medicines, conditions, vaccinations, blood group and NHS number, only if you choose to add them. - NHS search: Find GP surgeries, dentists and opticians from the NHS list and save their numbers. - Check-ups: When each child last saw the dentist, optician or GP, so nothing slips. - Vitamins and medicines: Daily doses with a reminder and a tick when they're given. - Emergency info: One tap shares a child's key details with a babysitter or another parent. - Pets: Vets, vaccinations, insurance and microchip numbers for the four-legged family too. ### Chores and pocket money - Chores: Daily or weekly jobs for each child, ticked off as they're done. - Points and goals: Points for chores add up towards something they're saving for. - Pocket money: A running tally of what's owed and what's paid. - Your choice: Turn the Chores tab off in Settings and it's gone. ### Reminders - Reminders: On any entry, as early as you like. - Morning and evening summaries: What's on today at breakfast, and what to get ready for tomorrow after tea. - Alerts list: Every reminder Kinboard has sent, in case one was swiped away. - Private notifications: Hide the details on the Lock Screen, so medicines and appointments aren't on show. ### Family, privacy and safety - Invite codes: Send an 8 character code. Each code works once, so a forwarded message can't let anyone else in. - Sign in without a password: A code is emailed to you. There's no password to forget or leak. - No account needed: Use Kinboard on one iPhone with no account at all. Sign in later, only if you want to share. - Face ID lock: Ask for Face ID or the passcode each time Kinboard opens. It's also hidden in the app switcher. - Backup and restore: Save everything to one file whenever you like, and bring it back on a new phone. - Delete your account: From Settings, in a couple of taps. Your family's shared data goes with the last grown-up to leave.
